Charging home to secure an incredible and dominant victory in the major Group 1 Hong Kong Mile in December, talented Hong Kong raider Able Friend currently figures as sole occupant of the top line of betting at generous odds of $6 for success with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Finishing outside the places just once in his 14 start career so far, Able Friend broke through for a maiden victory at the highest level when taking out the Hong Kong Classic Mile at the beginning of 2014, and has rarely looked like being beaten since.

Beating just one runner home first-up in spring on the 23rd of August, the Northern Meteor colt claimed minors in each of the Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m) and Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes (1400m); breaking through for a maiden black type victory in the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes (1500m) before winning the major Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) most recently on October 11th.
